Guest guest
Merry Christmas all!! I just came from the post office to send some packages and it was a WONDERFUL experience! If you have packages to send (as long as they're not humongous) I urge you to use Click and Ship!!!!!! You go online at www.usps.com and print your mailing label. (They charge the postage to your credit card). You then waltz into the post office, gasp at the huge line of people, and walk right over to the self serve area, drop your package in the bin and LEAVE! It's a beautiful thing. :-) Karla in Texas

I usually use FedEx since I get a great discount with hubby job (and I can shop later and send right before Christmas) but I wont see him until almost Christmas Eve so I'm off tomorrow to the post office lol Kathy mom to Sara 13 ¸...¸ ___/ /\ \___ ¸...¸ ,·´º o`·, /__/ _/\_ \__\ ,·´º o`·, ```)¨(´´´ | | | | | | | | | ```)¨(´´´ ¸,.-·²°´ ¸,.-·~·~·-.,¸ `°²·-.¸ As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Guest guest
My neighbors received a package in the mail today and since they weren't at home I took it for them. It was quite large and heavy. Even the mailman and I were looking at it and the postage. There were about $12.50 in stamps on it. Obviously didn't do it the easy way. My neighbor came home shortly after so he came to get it, he said it was evidently Xmas presents from his sister in Washington state. I hope they are worth that much. What I thought was interesting was there were 3 stamps worth $3.85 cents each, plus a variety to make up 95 cents more. I was surprised at the uneven amounts. The P.O. usually puts on a tape with the amt printed on it. Jessie
Guest guest
In small towns they sometimes do it that way. My in laws live in a small town in Maine and sometimes things show up with a gazillion stamps on them - seems like a lot more work than 1 sticker.
