Guest guest
has had 52 new members join in the last couple of weeks and many of you in just the last two days. Welcome to all of you-- I hope that you find the information discussed here helpful. You've received an administrative email discussing the rules of the group and I want to reiterate a few of them. 1) Because of the size of the group (we have approximately 2500 members), we're trying to keep the " noise " down. Thus, instead of answering the same questions every time a new member joins, we ask that you read Roy Walford's " Beyond the 120 Year Diet " before posting questions about calorie restriction. 2) Since it is likely that many of the questions you may have about CR have already been discussed here, we have compiled a list of files at the website that archive these topics. Scroll down to the FILE INDEX to get an overview of what's in the file folders. If after reading this, you still have a question, by all means, ask it. 3) When you have read the book and our files, if you then want to post new information, please post scientifically credible information. Published scientific articles or abstracts are preferable. Do not attempt to post information from a site that is promoting a particular product or lifestyle. 4) When posting information, please include its source. It's helpful to include a link (URL), too. If the link is long, you can go to www.snipurl.com or www.tinyurl.com to create a shorter URL. This prevents dead links in your post, caused when your URL gets truncated when it's rolled over to the next line. This is not a comprehensive list of our procedures and what we're about. Please read the e-mails sent to you as a new member and read all the files for all the information on how we run the group. We think you'll find that putting forth that effort --and being part of this group-- will be well worth it as your health improves because of the valuable information we all learn here. Thank you for your cooperation, Diane
