Guest guest
Hi Checking in again ................. my house is now painted and I'm working on minor fixer-up projects, like cleaning lol it amazes me how my house can fall apart (the cleaning part) while I'm stuck in a shower grouting the floor for 2 days or how laundry piles up while painting ceilings and walls and wow my email heehee when I tuck Sara into her bed, I fall right next to her in exhaustion and I havent had the engery to get online to check mail. Well, the only strenuous stuff I have left to do is the attic and garage ............... the garage, oh my this is where all of my clutter has now gathered. Ive been waiting for a few cool days so I can work out there and I heard last night a cold front was coming so I'll work on the garage clutter next week. Hopefully I'll be able to put the house on the market in a week or 2. Then I will be able to sit back, daily clean and have some type of normalcy going on. Sara's doing great in school, her new teacher should be cloned. The Lord has really taken care of me in this area, I guess he knew I needed a break from IEP policing so I could work on the house. Well, I just wanted to say hi, I hope all are healthy and happy. I'm calling tomorrow to see if we have any more flu vac left, Sara got the flu last DEC and this sent her into 2 days of seizures ........... surely this will qualify as her being labeled high risk. Thank you all for being here Kathy mom to Sara 12 ............ OK I'm going to catch up on mail now ¸...¸ ___/ /\ \___ ¸...¸ ,·´º o`·, /__/ _/\_ \__\ ,·´º o`·, ```)¨(´´´ | | | | | | | | | ```)¨(´´´ ¸,.-·²°´ ¸,.-·~·~·-.,¸ `°²·-.¸ As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Oooops forgot to comment ........... nope, Mike is the narrow minded individual who thinks TWO vehicles should be parked in the garage. Truthfully Id rather have it used as a wood shop or something. I strip furniture and when I have a project going on the vehicles are in the driveway. Also my garage tends to get used for storage for one of my family members who has left their junk ............ The old line " I'll be back to get this stuff " is heard a lot. OK the exercise ................ you are right heehee but the grouting took all day and then the next to buff and in a tiny cubby Kathy mom to Sara 12 ............... HGTV is my Fav channel right now, I'll be ready to build my own house soon ........... just need a few more episodes ¸...¸ ___/ /\ \___ ¸...¸ ,·´º o`·, /__/ _/\_ \__\ ,·´º o`·, ```)¨(´´´ | | | | | | | | | ```)¨(´´´ ¸,.-·²°´ ¸,.-·~·~·-.,¸ `°²·-.¸ As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Guest guest
Kathy good to hear from you. I am so sorry about everything you are dealing with, and the Mike is dealing with. We will keep you in our prayers. Sharon H. Mom to , (13, DS) and , (9) South Carolina Checking in HI I thought I would check in The past 3 weeks have been crazy lol we are still showing the house and have had quite a few lookers. Right now it seems most want more for our asking price ..................... the next neighborhood over has the sz they want but for 100,000 more. Yesterday I had to leave for a showing and was told I could come back at 5:30 (the appt was for 4:30-5:30) well Sara and I came back at 5:45, I turn the oven on to preheat for a late supper and then went upstairs to turn all the lights off. While upstairs a car pulled in the driveway and I realized it was the agent that was to show the house. I turned the lights back on, went down stairs to tell Sara " get your coat on we are leaving again " (not to her liking) the doorbell rang and the agent at my door I knew heehee she has an 18 yr. old with DS. She laughed and apologized for being so late and then told me the perspective buyer has a 11 yr. old son with DS. This family lives in another city in TN. Anyway I met the man, he met Sara and we were off. I was thinking how ironic that the agent, a buyer and me all had a child with DS lol well no feedback yet but I sure wish this was a sign I thought keeping the house clean would be the hardest but it isn't ..... leaving the house for showings is lol Mike is at the cardiologist right now, the pulmonary specialist has determined his problems are not lung related. His tests showed extensive damage to his heart muscle, he speculates from years of high blood pressure. The DR left Mike with orders that he must lose weight and to not allow his blood pressure to rise because he's a heart attack waiting to happen. This news was given to him last week he was then sent to this cardiologist that he's at now. Im praying this cardio will give him better news and a list of things to do and not do, to live with this situation. It hasn't helped Mike that his dad suddenly has fallen ill and had emergency surgery this week. FIL had a strangulated hernia and his bowels were obstructed his dad is not and was not a surgery candidate because of his BP and clotting factor. With God's will surgery went great but he's now suffering a lot of post surgery problems I think what everyone (family and friends) is thinking about concerning Mike's dad's health is that this is the week my Mom fell ill and died on the 22nd. Here a year later we are again facing health issues with a parent. I feel so bad for Mike, he's in Nashville working Sunday through Thursday and worrying about his dad, his own health is at risk which is another burden to carry. Thank goodness the girls and I are healthy (well Im stressed lol but not complaining to Mike) and Im helping his Mom deal with his dad. Sara is beside herself right now as she is not liking the hospital. She over the year has associated hospitals with pain and death so she is soooooooooooo scared for her PaPa. Im really feeling confident that everything will be OK, yes a tough recovery for FIL but I feel so strongly that he will be around for a while longer I did though skip buying tickets to a concert and making arrangements for a night out (my bday is this weekend) because of what happened last year (I had concert tickets then too and reservations to a hotel that I had to cancel) I told Mike we will be spontaneous with our Bday celebration heehee who knows where we will end up but for sure not far from the hospital lol most of my friends have told me to pick a new BDay date lol really ... this is the third time someone has been hospitalized during MY time. Good news .... school is going great, and Sara and I will be moving kicking and screaming lol the teacher should be cloned, she really gets it. Sorry this is so long, lol to much has gone on since I last posted lol miss you all Kathy mom to Sara 13 ¸...¸ ___/ /\ \___ ¸...¸ ,·´º o`·, /__/ _/\_ \__\ ,·´º o`·, ```)¨(´´´ | | | | | | | | | ```)¨(´´´ ¸,.-·²°´ ¸,.-·~·~·-.,¸ `°²·-.¸ As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
