Guest guest
Chuck: I personally suffered CTS bilaterally for years, exhausted all remedies....eventually had **shudder** surgical intervention on the one side ....with GREAT relief immediately.... The other side was being managed very well with microvolt electric acupuncture on a 1 or 2 times/month basis (down from 2/3/week).... till the nazidog claims rep jammed up the treatment schedule....resulting in consult for me today and probable surgical date.... everything I tried, from soft tissue to smt to laser, nutrition, etc 'helped' but not enough to get rid of it completely.... the question I suppose becomes, if a treatment once or twice a month reduces the symptoms from 8/10 (intolerable) to 1/2 (quite liveable) scale, why does the system invent enough paperwork to make the PCP unwilling to fill out more forms that are identical to the ones he already did? So I personally am being moved from conservative care into surgical care thanks to the needs of the machine, not the needs of the patient.... J. Guest guest
Try CT cream, the stuff absolutely works. Use for two weeks and patient's symptoms should be reduced. I have a medial epicondylitis patient right now who swears by it. He got better, but then plateaued, considered prolotherapy, then felt as if he was getting stronger and didn't need the prolotherapy. He went fly fishing last wknd, hooked many a steelhead and his elbow hung in there. To his great surprise:No soreness on Monday. Also, supplement with B-6 and Vitamin C and plenty of water and rest. do a google search on line for CT cream. tis good stuff Joe Medlin DC PDX Low level laser help Hey OR DCs, Got a stubborn case of probable carpal tunnel syndrome.
