And we are concerned that a 70-sum year old female patient is going

to vote, someone who has been around for many years, lived through

some of the hardest economic times of our country, and we

have " educated " professionals making statements like a few of the

last posts who are going to vote. Do these " educated professionals "

really believe some of this tripe????

Just because it is reported on the news, read on the web, or printed

in the paper does not make it so. Just ask Dan Rather. However, if

it is repeated enough times, from the left or the right, some people

believe it.

I guess we can all hope this rot stops after election day, but

somehow I think that the outcome of the election will only justify

more of this garbage when the election doesn't come out like some

would like.

I have become a convert to eliminating this political garbage from

the list serve when it is just vile crap, instead of intelligent

information.

Well said Ron. . . I also am tiring of the

vile attacks.

It reminds me of people I meet that tell

me. . . . . “No, I don’t go to a chiropractor. I had an uncle that went to one years

ago and the chiropractor hurt him.”

You can always find the “outside the

normal experience” testimony to support whatever you are attempting to

indoctrinate others with. . . . . however, that does not necessarily make it

the truth.

If we as chiropractors do not appreciate

the lies, innuendo, half-truths and falsehoods that are told about our

profession, then we should refrain from telling lies, innuendo, half-truths,

and falsehoods about others. . . . . . even if they are politicians.

Now back to your regularly scheduled

broadcast. . . .

Actually, I really was trying to take a " humorous " slant on what is

obviously a complex issue (doesn't anyone see the irony of accusing Kerry of

being AGAINST the war, and then also accusing him of CAUSING the war!?) (I

thought that was rather hilarious, myself :)

I dearly love this lady (the 70+ yo) who brings me every Clinton/Kerry joke

she can find. She's been a patient of mine for as long as I've been in

practice. She and her husband (who is now deceased) and I have bantered

politics (and many other subjects) for years, and we fully respect, enjoy

and even revel in the differences we have on different subjects.
