Have you check into any charter schools? Charter schools have to follow the

same standards that Public schools do, but they often have different methods

of teaching.

Do any of you have your children in other settings? What are they like and how

is it working for you?

In our area there is a catholic run school for the handicapped. I know several

parents who have chosen this for their children with DS and are very pleased

with the program. I checked it out for many, many years ago and decided it

wasn't where I wanted him. Of course, you had tuition to pay, like any private

school.
