A ROMANIAN surgeon underwent a fit of madness while operating on a patient's testicles and instead cut off the man's penis and sliced it into three pieces, hospital officials said.The surgeon, Naum Ciomu, was described as a senior member of the hospital staff and a professor of anatomy. He had been operating on a 34-year-old man for a testicular malformation when he committed the act, the officials said. "We are shocked by what has happened. It is the first time we have had such a case," said Sorin Oprescu, head of the Bucharest emergency hospital where the patient was rushed for emergency reconstructive surgery. The operations have been entrusted to a highly respected Romanian plastic surgeon, Ioan Lascar, who said he would try to restore the man's urinary function but that he was unlikely to recover normal sexual activity.

Doctor Ciomu has been banned from entering an operating theatre for two months pending the results of an investigation by the medical council, Oprescu said.

Meanwhile the wife of the unfortunate patient said she was suing Ciomu.

Yeah........................It seems fitting that this quack gets a 2 month suspension from his medical practice for cutting off a penis, and apparently, on purpose for cryin'-out-loud (or should I say SCREAMING-OUT-LOUD......AHHHHH!!) Just think if SAIF (Society Against Intelligence & Fairness), Snake Farm., Take-Away-Your-Liberty Mutual, or Allsnake discovered that you didn't charge that unemployed single mother of four for the 6 adjustments you gave her last fall because, guess what? She couldn't afford it. What a huge piece of human protoplasm you are for actually caring about another human being and their personal situation. How dare you give anyone a fair shake? That's ILLEGAL! The world will most certainly go to hell if you give the cash paying public (and those without $$) an honest break. Mean while, SAIF and every other insurance company continues to rack up record profits, every single quarter over the past 15 years. But you had better be above reproach, just like Farmers, Snake Farm, Allied/Nationwide (we are really, truly on your side...unless you have a claim! Ha Ha Ha), and UnProgressive, all of whom have been found GUILTY of bilking their own policy holders for fraudulent behavior time and time again, FOR YEARS. {Pay a little fine, keep on screwing people over. We have friends in Washington DC. We don't care. We don't have to). Then there are those in our own profession that sell out to the highest bidder, no matter how truly injured the patient they are "independently evaluating" may be. If the proverbial frick...n' (sorry, that should be f.....ckin') shoe fits, wear it, pals. You KNOW who you are. Perhaps if we start cutting of appendages, we'll only get a 2 month suspension of our ability to serve the public and make a living wage..........I just hope no one from the SIU discovers that I haven't charged patients for an adjustment on their birthday for over 26 years now.. I am such a scum.

In the mean time, can I work on that there penis for ya' pal????? I know a little bit about minor surgery. Took it in school..................it was back in 1978..........I am somewhat rusty, not to mention that my hands shake after caffeine ingestion.
