Why are you both discussing bacteria in lettuce and on fruits? Did I miss something in previous postings? Are we having increases in bacteria on greens???? Everybody [at least I thought everybody] cleans their lettuce/greens/all fruits and veggies before they eat them. Have I missed something? Why the discussion on the vinegar for killing the bacteria? Is there a rotten new outbreak in Ecoli again that I missed on the news? Thanks! Diane B, aka, the other Diane...... .......me for some nice fresh Gigli spaghetti today, ie, fresh tomatoes and basil with lemon over thin spaghetti [and black pepper and a little olive oil]...trick of the sauce is you don't cook it, just let it sit out awhile.....the perfect recipe for when it's over 90 in the shade and moving/doing anything seems to be not quite on your agenda for the day!
