Guest guest
Hi all, I just have to share. On Easter we did a treaure hunt for the kids where they had to read clues. Each clue had one of the kids names on it. The older kids had buddys of little ones and they had to read their clues and keep them with them. Maverick had my 3 yr old nephew as his buddy. I didn't even think when I was writing up the clues that I should do something simple for Maverick. But he did SO WELL reading the clues......not just his sight words...(lol). He really impressed me, and even my mom and sister who have no idea what he is capable of. I was proud. Then, I wrote up a schedule for him to follow at home, his morning and nighttime routines. I put them in a paper sleeve, one on each side. He follows them faithfully. Last night he got to the " take a bath " step and I still had my 4 yr olds in the tub. He was sitting in the hall waiting for them to get done. I told him to go clean his room while he was waiting. He said, " Let's see. " And he studied his routine and then said, " No, clean room not on here!! " Needless to say, I added it today and he'll find it on his chart tonight!!! ¸...¸ ___/ /\ \___ ¸...¸ ,·´º o`·, /__/ _/\_ \__\ ,·´º o`·, ```)¨(´´´ | | | | | | | | | ```)¨(´´´ ¸,.-·²°´ ¸,.-·~·~·-.,¸ `°²·-.¸ As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Guest guest
How great for Mav ... and you are in trouble now that he can read his schedule and not let you change things without changing it! Cheryl
