Guest guest
Peanuts may reduce colon cancer development risk, but the epidemiologic nature of the study may result in less reliable results. Peanut sprouts may counter aging via resveratrol, the agent found in red wine. Aflatoxin fears are exagerated. http://www.health24.com/news/Healthy_eating/1-919,34839.asp -- Al Pater, PhD; email: old542000@... __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi folks: And I bet peanut SPROUTS, for many reasons apart from the resveratrol, are much healthier than the peanuts themselves. Like eating green vegetables in place of a concentrated fat source. Hmmmm. I seem to remember Bob Besson and Warren going into considerable detail here, perhaps two years ago, about sprouts and sprouting, for anyone who feels like searching the archives for that information.
