Guest guest Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Folks, I have hesitated to bring this up before, because I wasn't sure I was experiencing the feelings I had yesterday during a thunder storm, but now I am positive it is not my imagination. Had a fairly severe storm come through south central Florida yesterday afternoon, and after the storm passed, but lightning was still around, I felt a tingling in my left arm and hand, a weakness too, almost as if the muscle had been overworked, and just an unpleasant, odd sensation. And a sort of thrumming in my wrist bones. I have read some accounts of people who have been hit by lightning and survived who have strange symptoms afterward, and since we too have electrical charges pass through our systems periodically, I was wondering what others might have experienced, if anything. Are we also more sensitive to electrical charges because we have been zapped at one time or another? I was generally "off" after that too, and took another Toprol at bedtime. I was fine until the storm. Anybody else have this kind of experience during a bad storm? Becca in Florida (desperately missing Winter) Messenger with Voice.
