Hi Everyone, I just joined this group - and actually, I just learned of

CR lifestyle today! And I am impressed - so impressed that I am being

inspired to lean heavily towards this new way of eating. It appears to

be soooo healthy!

I have struggled with weight issues my whole adult life. I am 49. I

am an emotional eater, a compulsive eater, and want desperatly to get

this under control. I want to be thin! Right now, I am around 70

pounds overweight, sorry to say. (The truth hurts!)

So this way of life - the CR Diet - has a tremendous appeal to me.

I am not concerned at this point with becoming too thin - I am a LONG

WAYS from that happening - lol. I don't want to be " anorexic " or

anything like that; what I want to do is learn to eat wisely and

reponsibly, and get down to and stay at a healthy weight for my body

size and frame. This way of life - the CR Diet - seems very do-able to

me.

I have changed my eating habits since the first of this year. And I

have lost 12 pounds since January 1st, which feels real good. I did it

by going on the CSD - the Cabbage Soup Diet. I am taking a break from

it right now, but in the meantime, I have totally eliminated ALL white

sugar, white flour, and fried foods from my diet. It seems to me that

this is a good start for me.

I am looking forward to learning as much as I can about the CR Diet; I

have already been reading alot of the information in the files here -

good stuf!

Well, just wanted to introduce myself and say that I am glad to have

found this place - Thanks!

Best Regards,

JoJo

I firmly believe that " Thin is In - and Fat is NOT Where Its At! "
