(or is that obvious?) - while instructing workouts, thoroughly audition the background exercisers and make sure that they know the workout in their sleep! i dont mind a well covered goof once in a while, but someone who flubs all of the time is pretty annoying (see one of sharon mann's exercisers -- not sharyn aka sparky but another girl who takes her spot sometimes.. her name is mary). - dont wear outrageous workout clothes... a flattering bra top with pants is great (like what debbie siebers and cathe wear in their workouts). - try not to wear something (or make reference to some one/thing/event) that will date the workout in the future. - try to wear something that shows up well on film -- i do believe that people in taebo workouts are instructed to wear pants with stripes down their sides so that everyone can see what their legs are doing. if you are doing an ab workout, it might be helpful to wear something that shows your abs. - make a note of the sets that successful workouts use. you dont want the set to be too plain and boring but not cluttered and distracting. alot of people like outdoor settings but those have their own set of challenges im sure. - as an instructor please do not say 'wheew!' or 'whoooo!', almost everyone finds this annoying. be encouraging but dont be a cheerleader. - if the instructor is going to talk to the background exercisers during the workout, please give them a microphone so that we can hear what they are saying. otherwise, background exercisers need to be quiet. and dont give a mic to a background exerciser who is too chatty or who wants to take over the workout from the instructor! oh, i suppose that i could go on and on! LOL!!! maybe some of this will help... :*carolyn. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Version: 7.0.300 / Virus Database: 266.6.2 - Release Date: 3/04/2005 Quote
