How do you know when pumpkins are ready to harvest? Thanks for the wealth of information you share.

You are most welcome. Pumpkins are super easy to grow-I grow all kinds, from mini ones the size of golf balls up to giant ones. I roast the big ones in my solar oven and make puree or flour to use throughout the year. Here is a pic of my tiny ones that I harvested yesterday-I grew these upside down from a hanging container on my porch!

,

Thank you so much for sharing. I am going to get my husband to grow pumpkins in his garden next year. I use flax, almond, and coconut flour exclusively. The pumpkin flavor should be great with those. Thank you again!

Sure-happy to share. I just dehydrate my pumpkin in my food dehydrator (just split open a whole pumpkin, remove the seeds and pulp (roast the seeds-compost the pulp) and slice it into slices to dehydrate
