hi donna -

thanks for telling us about your experience with miranda esmonde-white.

i have been puzzling over her and her workouts...lol.

i have done one of them -- i borrowed one for the back from the library.

i liked miranda but she just didnt seem like a professional fitness

instructor.

i didnt think that her instructions were very good at all actually.

she just seemed to put herself into a pose and the viewer was expected to

try to mimic it.

also miranda kept going on about how she suffers with chronic back pain and

that she does these various stretches (sometimes) many times a day. she

certainly is very flexible, i will give her that. and her talk about back

pain was fairly interesting. and she was pleasant to visit with. but

one needs to use their exercise smarts with the back workout/stretch, in

particular.

i have been especially interested in 'athletes intense stretch' because the

title sounds right up my alley. but im not sure if i will like miranda in

it. i hope to be able to try it some time and see. it would be great if

you could let me know how her cueing and form instructions are in that one,

please. also im wondering if it is a fusion workout too. i just want some

good stretching and dont want any barre-type toning stuff.

tia,

-carolyn.

you should get it ! :) its 50 mins long and after i do this

routine, my back pain is reduced.

while alot of miranda's technique is focused on

relieving stress in the back, the focus of this particular workout is

on the lower body -- hips, hamstrings, quads, groin, glutes.

so alot can be said for loosening up the lower body in order to

reduce back pain.

and by following her techniques, i find that i can reach new levels

of flexibility.... so it is all good.

recommended!

Thanks for the recommendation I may have to get this one. I might
