Guest guest
hi everyone "i promise everyone i am not "a belly dancing spokesperson" or something, i'm just a woman whose fallen in love with this beautiful art of dancing and i have no choice but to share it with others." you are so, so right pinkpussycat on stating that "belly dancing would be a perfect compliment for your kick boxing work-outs." as i mentioned before i ALWAYS work-out to my tae-bo tapes & yoga/pilates as well, so belly dancing DEFINITELY "compliments" ALL my work-out videos i have and ones i'll soon purchase in the future. belly dancing WILL NEVER interfere with your daily work-out routine; instead it WILL improve & enhance your work-outs. my curves are "more curvy" and my stomach is MUCH, MUCH flatter compared to before. belly dancing leaves "positive results" not "negative ones." for some reason pinkpussycat, if you do not care for the belly dance video you have already purchased because of the instructor or any other reason, please DO NOT let that discourage you. i have purchased the veena & neena (www.bellytwins.com) videos and their instructions are so easy to follow therefore i recommend ANY of their videos for teaching this "remarkable dance." as i mentioned before, i've already purchased two of their videos (basic belly dance & slim down belly dancing aerobics) and after each work-out/video i ALWAYS feel stronger, leaner, more flexible and confident & my posture is actually better, and not to mention belly dancing "ACTUALLY" relieves stress. belly dancing DEFINITELY celebrates being a woman. your right cola, everyone is catching on to belly dancing and i hope you soon will to. i'm not for sure is kathy smith is known for belly dancing BUT just as i mentioned in this message (in my opinion) veena & neena videos are the best instructors for teaching ones fundamentals of this dance. i'm going to order the rest of their videos in a week or so to learn more "moves & routines." you seem very active cola just as the other members of this group therefore; you WILL NOT regret trying this PHENOMENAL dance. here are a couple of sites that have helped me to understand belly dancing better therefore; i know it may help you and answer ANY questions you may have.... www.learn-to-belly-dance.com, www.shira.net, www.kawakib.com, www.bellydanceweb.com, & www.joyofbellydancing.com sorry i posted a BOOK instead of a "short & quick" message but as i've mentioned before, whenever i experience something i love doing i have no choice but to share it with others. "have fun, relax and enjoy being a woman..." take care EVERYONE & (as always) GOD Bless
