Well rats! I just wrote a detailed response to this, Carolyn, but it

didn't post! Grrr! In short- great review, I've been looking at

this dvd at various places but have been hesistant to reach into my

pocketbook for it, esp since I have many more yoga workouts in my

library left to try.

My tree sometimes topples too, it gets better with practice, and your

balance is different on any given day.

I had a lot of frustrations today and pounded on the bag with basic

punching and kicking drills for 45 minutes, kickboxing to kb musci

from powermusic.com (anyone can buy this).

After that, I did the first routine of Baron Baptiste's Power Yoga 1.

I will review this after I've done the whole thing. In short - this

is the surfer dude's/babe's version of yoga. For example. he uses the

word " people " a lot, as in, " Breathe deep, People! Focus on your

center, People! " etc. To my glee, however, part of routine 2 was

advanced! Yay! I'll explore further later.

Off to take a bath and hit the sack.

HI Carolyn,

I have both the MTV workouts and I like them both, but the power yoga is difficult for me in certain parts. I think she moves really fast in the first section so I modify big time.. I love the stretching she does in both of the workouts.

Let me know how you like the power yoga.

i have the MTV yoga workouts on VHS. they can be bought inexpensively

around here at the mass merchandisers (on vhs). i dont know if there are

any bonus features on the dvds or not. i like the first, regular yoga

workout that they do... and i also have the power yoga, but i havent tried

that one yet. i hear that it moves along very quickly and i thought that i

should get better at yoga in general before tackling it. although i do

have some other power yoga workouts, i have heard that this one is fairly

tough.
