I was home cleaning my apartment last Sat. and I was zapped twice. I could feel the second one coming and thankfully, had time to lay on my bed. They seem to be more painful now, maybe due to my lupus. Went to the local hospital, got admitted. Doc came into my room asking for my medication list. I went into the bedside table where my purse was, bent over, picked up my bag and as I was turning toward him..it went off again! I ended up throwing my bag at him! I don't think I've ever seen anyone's eyes get so big and round before. He was not my regular doc. So, I was immediately transferred to Mass General where my docs are. Stayed in a couple days, needed my meds adjusted again. It's nice to be home again. Off to take a nap, god bless and take care. Pam

I don't think we have talked before. I did belong to the other group 2 years ago when I first developed LongQT and got my ICD. I got lots of support and info and they were great. I even got my kids tested to be sure they were ok thanks to the advice given. I would recommend them to anyone who has LongQT. As with most things, over time I got busier and fell off of the list. I now only get special announcements from (?)

Sorry to hear of your latest heart problems, that really stinks big time !!!

I will pray for you that your meds are now adjusted and you will not receive any more Zaps for along time.

Pam, The good news is it should be 65 degrees by Friday. :-)

We have not had a 60 degree day this Spring yet !

Glad to hear your on the mend friend. (Hey, I'm a poet and don't even know it..lol...)

I could use a prayer or two myself, I have been unemployed for 6 months now and need a job real bad.

The good news is I have a second interview tomorrow morning in North Andover, MA.

It is a 50 minute commute from my house here in Southern Maine, but is in my field and the pay is pretty good.
