Oh, boy! At last.... a fun political discussion that i can sink my

vampire

teeth into! Heh heh.

I agree with you about 85%..... But altho i voted for him (the first

time), i must truly admit that Mr. Clinton

as a person embarrassed me horribly. It was NOT fun to explain to my

then-8 yr. old step daughter what

is 'oral sex'. As for the historian viewpoint, I was 10 yrs. old when

JFK was assassinated. To me then, and

still now.... he was a personal hero. It wasn't till i was an adult that

the stories came out in the media about

his alleged affairs. As if what he did in his 3 short yrs. as President,

leader of our country, should be discounted

because he played around. Same with Republican presidents.

My p.o.v. is that we elect human beings as leaders. Human beings have

flaws. They have sexual drives. They

don't always use good judgment. But if their poor judgment does not

affect this COUNTRY, who gives a rat's

behinder? If they ran a lesbian woman for President, and she had the

character and policies and ideology that

I agree with..... I'd vote for her in a New York minute. I don't care a

bit what she does in her bedroom.... i only

care how she runs this country. Heck, i don't even care if she is male

or female, black or white or 'other'.

That being said, Clinton ran this country very well. Just look at

today's stock market report, and compare that

to 4 yrs. ago. Just look at today's unemployment rates, and do the same.

Just look at what you pay in taxes today,

and compare that to 4 yrs. ago. I don't even want to go into what Mr.

Bush senior left unfinished in Iraq --- and

how his son is suddenly so keen to even the record.

I rest my case.

Sue
