Hey All,

Hopefully I can provide you with a laugh today by telling you this story ...

This evening, I decided to try this 3D swan-shaped mold that my mom gave me

(as part of that huge box of candy molds that she sent me in the mail a

while back). You might remember me telling you about that. Anyway, it's a

very pretty swan -- it's a Wilton mold that is in two pieces and you snap it

together. I'm thinking this will be very pretty in a springtime-theme bath

and body gift basket for my grandma for Christmas. I decided to color it

pale pink with some cosmetic glitter and scent it with peony FO from

Wholesale Supplies Plus. Anyway ...

I snapped the mold together and mixed up my soap, then poured it into the

mold. How gorgeous this is going to be, I thought! Well, after I poured the

melted soap into the mold, I just stood there for a while looking at it, and

all of the sudden melted soap was leaking out onto our kitchen counter!!! I

started panicking and yelled at my husband, " I have a dilemma here! " It

seems that there was a hole in the mold or something, around the swan's

neck, because soap kept pouring out of it!!! We sat it in the sink and

waited for the soap to harden a bit, and then the leaking stopped. We were

both laughing so hard! My husband started to take a wet sponge to our

kitchen counter to clean up the melted soap, and I said, " NO -- it's soap;

it will only make lather! " So I took a scraper and scraped off the soap from

our counter.

That was our excitement for the evening ... LMAO!!!!! :-)

Here's one to laugh at too. I dont know if I should even mention it for

being laughed off the list . There was a time when I was using pvc pipe

to mold my soap in, and I would put the cap on and stand them up in my sink

when I poured into them. Well, this one day I poured one and it just

wouldnt fill up. Well, turns out I forgot to put the cap on and It was just

going down the drain. DOOOH Shaye! I only did that once and learned my

lesson to be very sure they had the caps on.

My mother inlaw did that to our thanksgiving gravy one year ....... She was straning the gravy with out a pan underneath . It all went down the drain ...

Of corse it would not get as thick as the soap ...... but no gravy with our stuffing..... wa wa wa .......lol
