a good week

Sounds like a lot of people are having a good week for business. I had a

hair appointment today and my hairdresser had

previously asked me to bring a few of my soaps and other items to show her

the last time I was there. So I decided to make

up a big basket of everything and put some fall flowers in it along with

covering the bottom part of the basket with beautiful

Fall shrinkwrap. She LOVED everything and kept it to sell the items in her

shop. She is also going to show her sister everything because her sister is

getting married next year. I may have a BIG wedding to do. When these

girls get married (it's a large Italian family) they have huge weddings.

When my hairdresser got married she had 400 guests!!! The wedding isn't

until

next year but I'm hoping to grab this job. She also said something about

shower favors. Boy, I could really make out with that

job!! Then she gave me names to go see at a few other shops and to tell the

people she sent me. THEN she called her sister who is the executive

secretary to the president of a big retirement home in our area. She said

they have a beautiful gift shop

there and also the women who work there are high class fancy dressed women

who buy ALL that kind of stuff. Her sister

said to put together a big basket and bring it over to her next week to

leave there. Boy, I'm on a roll now. Look out!!

Congrats to Colleen on your other new adventure. I hope it all works out

for you. You must really love kids to do that. I

love kids but I don't know if I'd have the patience to watch them all day.

It's good money, though, from what I hear.

Oh, Terri. Did you get that email I sent you about your source for the

lotion bar containers? I know I''ve seen them offered

on co-ops but I was just getting started in business and wasn't at the point

of doing bars then. Does anyone else in our

group use the deodorant containers for lotion bars? If so, where do you buy

them?
