Terry, whats your web site addy again?

thx

Re: our site and stuff

Yes, warm would be a good thing. Map?? um I'll have to start another

one...the first one I stored in a folder and now I can't find it. *bangs

head against the wall* Our website is still showing the under construction

page....I HAD to get my page redone before I could even think of beginning

to work on it.

Which by the way if you haven't looked at it...I've got almost all the pages

rebuilt. I have 2 pages left and they should be done this weekend. I'm super

happy with the new look and the new way I have the shopping cart set

up....I'm still using the CCNow cart system, but I have it set up so it

almost looks like it's part of my site. The cart opens in a new window

instread of having it go right to CCNow on the main page. This way folks are

still at my site while they are in the cart......thats one thing I've

learned....keep folks at your site. I've also started a soap of the month

and doing a free give away of it. We'll see how it goes.

SO back to the our website.....Most likely by Monday or Tuesday I'll be

starting to work on it. Thats when you'll be seeing tons of emails from me

asking for help and info.

Gathering.... M thank you so very much for the kind offer of the use of

your home for the gathering. Sounds like you have plenty of room for

all.....man I can't imagine 75 people in a house at one time! As far as what

would be needed for demos I would think a person would be more comfortable

using their own equipment and visa versa, you know? So if anyone wants to

demo anything they should bring all things needed to demo it. I know I'd be

happier if I was measuring lye on my own fussy scale instead of being thrown

off guard by someones elses fussy scale lol

whats everyone else think?

They still have a free version....only difference I can see is there is no

longer a visitor history and you can't push URL's ....no big deal to me...I

can check to see if the person has been to the site before by my counters

and I can type a URL into the chat window LOL

That's a good idea in regards to bringing their own equipment because I have no

idea

what you CP guys use. All need are glass bowls and my microwave & ingredients.

Shay,

your soaps came out beautiful..They smell great, too. You stole my table cloth,

though.

I have the same one. That's quite the coinky dink!! Question: What did you use

to make

your chocolate chunks? I made a chocolate chip loaf soap once and had a h-ll of

a time

getting the proper color for chocolate. I finally ended up buying some brown

color chunks

from Soapberry Lane when I made little Reese's Pieces scented candy soap a while

ago. But

I haven't tried it in white soap yet to see of it's going to bleed.

Did I tell you guys I applied to a website that carries different crafter's

products? After

you apply & describe your product in detail, they let you know if they're

interested. It only

costs $30 for (2) pages of your pictures & sales info. But they were offering

(2) pages " Free " if you did any of (3) crafts that they were hunting for to

add to their

site and one of them was wedding " items. Remember what I said I really wanted

to be doing?

So anyhow, they're interested in the " champagne " glass soaps I'm doing and want

me to send

pictures or actual samples. So......I'll be doing some prototypes tomorrow to

see which

ones I'm going to send in. Then they'll let me know if I've been accepted and

send me

all the info on how it's handled and I'll decide if I'll do it. Also. a ladies'

dress shop

here in town saw my Mom during Christmas & told her she wanted my products in

her store.

So I stopped to see her Friday and told her I'd be glad to. I haven't made a

thing since

Christmas. I got pretty depressed after Christmas and couldn't do much of

anything but

sit around. Then I got notified that I had to go for depositions for my

lawsuit. For

those of you that don't know what that means,I had to go with my lawyer and

answer (8) hrs.

of questions by my ex-employer's lawyer while the a..hole that sexually

harassed me sat there listening and watching me have anxiety attacks during it

all. I had to get up & leave the boardroom (3) times I was such a mess. And

I've got to go back on 2/5/01 because they're not done with me yet. They also

subpoenaed my husband to go the same day. I'm not sure what they're going to be

asking him. Anyhow, enough of my yucky life for now. I'm sure I'll get

thru it eventually and I'll have closure on the whole thing.

I'm off.

, Thanks!!! Wow it is a coinkydink we have the same table cloth! Great

taste eh? lol. Well, my soap is CP, and the chocolate chunks were made with

a diff batch of CP I had done some time ago with chocolate fo and the color

is from cocoa powder. I was a little concerned that the hardened choco

chunks would catch on the cutter and drag across the soft CP but it all came

out great! Im gonna slice them into bars today.

Congratulations on your new accts!! Just the thing to pull you out of winter

blues.
