If you are asking about moving your cert from the UK to the US, you will

need to contact the US state to which you are moving and ask about their

requirements. EMS in the US is generally managed on a state-to-state

basis and they each have their own rules.

Just to echo Larry, it is a state to state issue.

Here is the link to the North Carolina state EMS page on reciprocity. I see

nothing about the process for medics from outside the country, but there are

addresses and contact numbers. If you talk to the right person and do as you're

told, you might be offered some kind of avenue.

statue of liberty?

On to the question at hand, anyone can apply to be a UK Paramedic through the

Health Professions Council (HPC) just click on the international applicants

section, please be warned its quite expensive at £480 plus £170 if your

application is successful, and its not quick. The HPC registers 14 professions

in the uk.

Now that i have thrown that hand grenade i'll sit back and enjoy the fight lol.
