Guest guest
Hi Becky, It's normal when you 1st start out that you can't hold your breath for long. If you can only do 2 circles each time don't worry about, eventually you'll be able to do a couple more just enjoy the journey. It will get easier1 I'll be praying for you. Love, Liz
Guest guest
Hi Becky, I am leaving to go out of town for a few days, but I wanted to try to answer you before I turn off the computer for the night. There is no rule for how long you hold your " lift " so it is fine if in some poses you can't seem to hold it quite as long. You will most likely notice that over time, usually does not take long, you will build up your ability to hold your " lift " longer, but even then there are some positions that you will simply not hold it as long. In the pretzel most people can't get a really deep " lift " but the position is still highly effective and gives great results. One thing that may help is if you do a few LifeLift breaths before you get into that position. This helps to get the oxygen flowing beautifully so that whatever pose you do, your body will be flooded with oxygen and you will get a great workout. I saw your other post about your nose bleeds. I will keep you in my prayers. I used to have terrible nose bleeds when I was a child. I know how frightening they can be. My youngest daughter had them too.. We both finally got over them and we have not had a problem for years and years. I will pray that you can find a solution to yours. Life Lift is the Original Aerobic Breathing Question about Workout #1 Hello ladies, hope you're all having a great weekend! It's been pouring rain all day here, but at least that keeps me in to do my LifeLift for today. I feel even better today than I did yesterday, so it really felt good to get this in after missing 4 days of it! Anyway, I have a question about Workout #1, which I just finished. I've noticed everytime I try doing the standing leg lift exercise and the toe circle exercise, I can't hold my breath long enough. That's especially for the leg lifts, though. I seem to only be able to lift my leg twice before I'm struggling for air. Does anybody else have this problem and/or am I doing something wrong? HELP! Becky What can changing the way you breathe do for you? Everything!
