Guest guest
Oh Jenni, I'm so happy to know your son did make it home, if only for a short time. I know I've said this before, and I know I'll say it again, but please, both you and Bonnie give your sons my love and thanks for what they do for us. Bonnie, DO IT!!!! Get that shirt and wear it proudly... Love ya, Kiki
Guest guest
I'm so glad you got Rob home! I never expected to see Shan over Christmas -- so the emailing was just great! And he's planning on visiting the states sometime soon (March maybe). I am truly thankful that his job (fixing some electronics on the planes, or something like that?) keeps him on base and not out in the trenches! I am so impressed whenever I talk with him, just how seriously (this is my super-hyperactive, unfocused and off-the-wall son) he takes his job -- lives depend on him and he is very aware of that -- and always does his checkups and work meticulously!!!! I like the Air Force and what it's done for him (and the other branches too!! -- though I have family only in the Army and AF, no one in the Marines, or Navy). I saw a t-shirt the other day that said " My daughter wears combat boots " -- I " threatened " my very-pretty little girl (, the one who is taking her Air Force physical next week) with getting and wearing it!!! LOL! Bonnie I did get to hug my Rob Hi all, We did get Rob home for 2 days! It was supposed to be 5 but apparently God had other plans And that's just fine...I still got to hug him and that's all I wanted. His flights were messed up going back to his base as well, but he did finally back around midnight last night. Thank you all for asking about him and praying for him! Bonnie, I'm sorry you weren't able to have your son home for Christmas. I kept thinking of you and praying for strength and joy for your family and him during Christmas day. There were times when I felt guilty, not just because of your son, but so many others. I truly pray that Christmas was okay for all of you. I'm not usually a hugger but {{{{{{{{{Bonnie}}}}}}}}} from the very very deepest part of my heart. Please, please thank your son for his service and tell him, to me he is very much a hero! with love, Jenni Proud Air Force Mom! May God guide and protect our troops! Guest guest
Please add mine to that ! The sacrifices all the military persons and families make is overwhelming! I know, my husband is an ex-marine from the Viet Nam war. My prayers and love are with all. Love, Connie Re: I did get to hug my Rob Oh Jenni, I'm so happy to know your son did make it home, if only for a short time.
