Guest guest Posted March 25, 2006 Report Posted March 25, 2006 Rich, problems with this, mate: I am also in the TA and have found a course called > a " paramedic conversion " course. Two weeks in York and you are a CMT1. The problem is the Army struggles to fill this course so if anyone > knows of any civillian paramedics who could get onto Army courses (ie > TA) Please get in touch and I'll supply details I'm on a course in > June at the moment, if it can be filled. You can't attend this course unless you are in the Army/TA. It is not open to outsiders, as it were. The object of the course is to get a paramedic who is in the TA into a position where he is up to speed on the military side of things. I have done this one and found that it required a lot of change to be effective but that is in hand, as I understand it. I would not join just to get on this course. I am not saying don't join the TA by the way. It is well worth it if you have the time. Paramedics are considered to be very valuable by the forces. Cheers & good luck Rod Quote
