Steve's Dad is mentally more alert now after the operation. He can remember his name and is attentive and will understand when spoken to. Before he tended to look around. But he cannot speak because he has tubes going in his lungs, and also in his nose, hands and coming out of his head. He still tends to want to loosen his hoses so he is strapped down.
