Guest guest
Hi. Have any of you substuted Pilates moves for the regular LL stretches? I have been doing LL for about three years off and on. I get bored quick with many sorts of exercises, but I just love LL. Even with that however, I seem to lose enthusiasm after about 10-12 weeks. I am also a yo-yo dieter and I think it makes it hard for me to lose too, which leads to me getting discouraged. Did any of you read the post from the lady who's done this a year straight and finally lost all sorts of inches? She gave me the boost I needed. LL truly is a great way to go about the abttle of the bulge and take good care of ourselves too. I am going to try Dr. Phil's eating plan. I am a former low-carb veteran but have found the eating style lowers my seratonin and actually leads to binging. I also get very dehydrated no matter how much water I drink or potassium I take. Not for me... However, the first time I did Atkins for 9 months and lost a lot of inches. Anyway, Dr. Phil is a little too low fat, but he encourages fruit and reasonable amounts of very fiber rich foods like beans/legumes and oatmeal... He's big on the calcium foods too. So... I begin it and see how it goes. It seesm easy, simple and it fits into my family's meals. Fedd back welcome. I always love returning here to browse. Guest guest
Hi, It's fine to do LL with Pilates. I've done that quite a bit, I really enjoy the combination of the two. I do LL with all kinds of exercises. Love, Liz On Sat, 17 Jul 2004 03:47:44 -0000 " poetrynmagick " <poetrynmagick@...> writes: Hi. Guest guest
Hello, This is such a great message. I am so pleased to hear that you love LifeLift so much. The most important part of this message to me, is the part where you point out how much someone writing to the list has inspired you. Those of you who write to the lists make such a difference for so many people. We have hundreds of people who read these messages daily and it can literally make their day to see someone sharing their positive experiences. When you share you may be giving someone hope. Often a person can be feeling desperate, lonely, or just overwhelmed and yet when they read something positive it can put them right into the light as far as their own possibilities. It only takes a few LifeLift breaths a day to make a huge difference in how we feel, how we look, how we age and our over all health and well-being. To those of you who take the time out of your busy schedules to write to the lists...I applaud you and I thank you. You are all so great! I love each and every one of my LifeLifters, but to those of you who reach out to help others hold a very special place in my heart.
