Guest guest
Hi Bonnie, That is so WONDERFUL!!! The energy IS amazing!! And I can always tell when I skip a week from laziness. :-o Keep it up!! Love Connie :-) 5 weeks of Life Lift! Hi All, I've completed 5 weeks of Life Lift -- and I think I can safely say it's now a habit. The extra energy is great -- I'm " forgetting " what it was like to struggle out of bed in the mornings! Or how hard my lunch walk used to be (the hills are STEEP). Last night, around bed time, my husband remembered that he had cut a bunch of tree limbs, then stopped (because of the heat) and hadn't baled the stuff for the trash pickup today. I had absolutely no problem going out and helping him -- I used to be absolutely done in physically by about 9PM -- this energy is NICE! I've been doing the " facelift " -- always saw results right after, but I wondered it there were lasting changes -- saw a friend this weekend who hadn't seen me for over a month, her first comment was how really " rested " my face looked! So the effects are definitely long-lasting! And my husband's face is looking younger -- lots of the fine wrinkles seem to be smoothing out. I like it! The other unexpected result I'm seeing is a regularity in my elimination -- I've had a LOT of problems in that area, but now, for the first time in over 40 years, I'm becoming more regular. I do the stomach press and belly rub frequently -- if I start anything resembling a cramp I start doing those LL exercises -- and it seems to take care of it! And both my husband and I have noticed that we're getting up less and less in the middle of the night (to go to the bathroom) -- used to get up perhaps 5 times (each of us) in the course of one night's sleep -- now I frequently sleep through an entire night, and my husband gets up only once or twice. Don't know if LL has helped bladder function, or if our sleep is sounder, but whatever, it's a welcome change! Still no weight loss, and other than the initial inches lost, nothing more -- but I plan to keep on doing the LL and maybe soon..... I've added coconut oil to my diet, and even though it's supposed to be beneficial, perhaps it's kicking in extra calories at the first???? So how's everyone else coming along? Liz, I'm always impressed with just how many LLs you do -- WOW! Are you seeing a weight loss or reduction in inches? And everyone else? Guest guest
Hi Ladies For an update it has been 16 weeks I have been doing 60 min LL a day with Pilates, treadmill, weights I have lost about 16 " and between 12-14 lbs I have been at a stand still last few weeks so I have been changing my routine (thanks Wanda) I added swimming 2 mornings a week through the summer because I do not have to drop off kids at school. I love to swim.trying to get in around 50-55 laps in 30 mins. I needed to do something special for me during the summer (thanks Lizzy for keep motivating to workout like you and take the time) I do LL onthe way to the pool (it is close to work to fit this in) .I feel so energized when I get done I'm also doing LL in the pool in different ways. Some stretching, side stroke works the best and really. Awesome A few more LL with water before going to work thanks for listening blessings R 5 weeks of Life Lift!
