Guest guest
Rod, In case you are not aware, the British Red Cross, Oxfam and the DEC have announced that they are closing their appeals and will not accept new donations after 26th February. The International Federation of the Red Cross website reports that 103% of their appeal target has been pledged with 98% already received in cash. All of the organisations mentioned above are now directing potential donors towards the Sudan Crisis appeal or more general disaster fund appeals instead of the Tsunami crisis. I appreciate you may not have been planning to pass on the money donated from this community via any of the appeals mentioned above but, if you were, I hope you find the information useful.
