A big thank you to all that have contributed to the appeal.

We will publish the final amount raised when we close the appeal.

Please donate if you can spare some cash no matter how small. Every penny

counts.

The people over there still need help and now that the disaster is not in

the news it is easy to fall into the trap of thinking that all is now well.

It isn't Cash is still needed.

Why not have a go at putting a collection tin out at work?

Please give what you can.

As a reminder you can donate by ?Paypal?: Log on to the RM website and follow

the charity link.

Many thanks again and thank you for your time in reading this.

Cheers

Rod,

In case you are not aware, the British Red Cross, Oxfam and the DEC have

announced that they are closing their appeals and will not accept new

donations after 26th February. The International Federation of the Red

Cross website reports that 103% of their appeal target has been pledged with

98% already received in cash.

All of the organisations mentioned above are now directing potential donors

towards the Sudan Crisis appeal or more general disaster fund appeals

instead of the Tsunami crisis.

I appreciate you may not have been planning to pass on the money donated

from this community via any of the appeals mentioned above but, if you were,

I hope you find the information useful.
