Having recently been to the same establishment, depending on who was on shift depended on the degree of poor quality of the food. In defence of Sodexho, I have also had meals in other establishments catered for by Sodexho and the food has been excellent. As Jerry said earlier, it must be all down to the individual chef. Universal Sodexho As a long standing universal Sodexho medic I feel qualified to pass the following comments; Firstly, we are a Facilities Management company, not as stated a Catering company. In fact only around 1/3 of the companys business is catering. As for the food, in my opinion it is excellent. Rod's comments are his opinion, however, I am a little concerened that the moderators allowed such a personal attack to be publisised on this site. Hardly professional. As regards them being an employer of Medic's I can find no fault. In fact, as a highly qualified RGN/ISO HS & E Medic, bit of a mouthfull, I am offered around 2 opportunities a month from various contractors / companies. I have yet to recieve an offer which exceeds my current contract either financially or on terms. In fact I have yet to recieve an offer which comes within £10k. Glorified Steward, I don't think so. But I have to say, some of the stewards I have worked with earn more than some of the companies I have seen recommended on this site pay for Medics. Remember, U.S. is a big company expanding and getting better all the time and this is a small world, don't be too vocal without the facts.
