Guest guest
Try fallrightinternational.com.au Suspension Trauma / Orthostatic Hypotension Hi all, I've been asked to do a presentation on: " suspension trauma " / " orthostatic hypotension " Do any of the members have any info on this subject or any useful links. Better still anyone already done a lesson on this subject? So far the information I have gained seems very thin on the ground. Mainly about climbers who get into difficulty, and end up stuck in suspension. I do understand that it is caused by poor veinus return from the lower extremities when suspended from a harness and has similar effects to crush syndrome, but I would like to learn more. Thanking you in advance, Kal Member Information: List owner: Ian Sharpe Owner@... Editor: Ross Boardman Editor@...
