Hi All,

It's looking as if my water PT may be coming to an end, although my knees

hurt and swell everyday, they think I might be able to continue on my own.

I'll know more in a week.

The guy that does the water therapy said for me to call my Dr and request

Synvisc injections. I can't remember who had/has these, but any info would

be nice to get. I go in for that this Tuesday.

Lastly, today the PT taped my L knee. He said to try and find the tape he

was using and if I could, he'd show us how to do the taping ourselves.

Before taping, I could only squat like 20 degrees. After taping I could

squat more like 47 degrees. He taped only one knee (the one with fewer

surgeries on it). He did not tape the knee that had the TTT done some 20+

years ago. I'm not sure why. I'll have to ask next week. I could maaaaaaaybe

have squatted a little farther had the R knee not hurt so much. My question

here is: someone had learned to tape their knees. What kind of tape do you

use and where did you find it? The tape he wants me to find is LeukoTape for

the top and under that Cover-roll stretch tape. Both these tapes are made by

BSN (Beiersdorf). Are these the same tapes you use?
