Guest guest
Actually, I guess the question was meant for the original poster of the recipe. I didn't see any preservatives in the body butter and wanted to know if it works o.k. without one. Tammy K. I used stearic in the last batch of body butter I made and I love it. Guest guest
Well, I have never used a preservative either, and most have been just fine. But I have found a couple butters that have gone rancid. I MEAN uggggg rancid. Couldn't figure out why. Maybe the oil? Hi Tammy, I do not use any preservative in my Butter, Balm/Ointments/Salves. I do use Vitamin E which is an antioxident and is good for the skin as well as helping the oils preform well. HTH hon. God Bless :-) Rita...
