Guest guest
Pure soap flake would be I believe something like Fels Naptha. HTH! Hugs, The book to read is not the one which thinks for you, but the one which makes you think. rose petal soap I found a recipe on another chat site that seems to be even simple enough for me. Just one question, what is a " pure soap flake " . Hope that question did not make you soapers fall off your chair laughing, but I really don't know. Here's the recipe: 2 tbsp. dried red rose petals 8 oz. pure soap flakes 2/3 cup boiling water 1/2 cup rosewater 2 tbsp. ground almonds 9 drops geranium essential oil Pound the petals with a mortar and pestle. In a bowl, mix the soap, petals, and water and stir until smooth. Stir in the rosewater and ground almonds; leave to cool. Mix in the essential oil. Shape into 6 balls and flatten them slightly; allow the soap to harden between sheets of wax paper. Keep unused soap in a cool, dark place until needed. Charmaine They are referring to Ivory Soap flakes. Be aware that the soap may turn brown over time whether kept in the dark or not because Rose petals turn brown in soap! The most popular Rose Petal Soap is made with treated or Silk Rose petals dipped in Melt and Pour Soap and used as a one hand washing soap treat. hth Sherry Natural Care E-books, booklets, spreadsheets, free downloads www.herbalsoap-healingcreams.com
