vit e to prevent rancidity in oils

so if you have 1000g of oil then you use 1g of vitamin E

hi... any idea what % of vitamin e should be added to oils to prevent

rancidity?

i thk about 5%...is that ok?

Natasha good afternoon,

by the time you get the Vit E (unless you are using synthetic) it could well be

off. Wheatgerm goes off very quickly. Even though I don't like synthetics I

tend to stay away from wheatgerm just incase someone is allergic to wheat. I

tend to use Citricidal, myself.
