I have heard some about these foaming bath truffles.......anybody

have a recipe or know exactly what these are? Also what is in Bath

Confetti?

I am still learning and don't know what these are or how to make them.

One more thing...What size do you package your bath salts in and how

big do you make your bath bombs and how many to a package?

thanks

I would be interested also.My daughter has been moldign her fizzies

in half of a heart shaped 3-d plastic mold(but doesnt put them back

to gether, leaves it in half). She puts 2 fizzes in a baggie then cuts

off excess, then sets this in a square of tuille and pulls up sides

into pouch shape and ties with ribbon. She has been selling these for

$1.50 for 2.Dont know if thats enough or not.I figured she has

about .40(i think) in the 2.We live in rural area tho.The bath salts

she has been putting in an offbrand plastic tupperware type square

bowl that is 24oz.and selling for $8.

Hi

I have a few questions regarding the recipe:

1. How much Cocoa Butter do you add to the recipe below?

2. Can Shea & /or Mango Butter be used either in conjunction or as a

substitute for Cocoa Butter

3. I would like to make an effervescent Shower Truffle that can be

hand held to exfoliate the delicate parts.

a) What other ingredients can I use to add to this mixture to make it

more solid and not slippery?

B) Would the addition of sugar or thick honey melted with the butter

help?

Please let me know as your assistance would be grately appreciated.

Cheers

Anita

hi...

a foaming truffle is a bath bomb with cocoa added for the extra

moisturing effect.

recipe:

1 cup baking sda

1/2 cup cornstarch

1/2 cup citric acid crystals

to this add melted cocoa butter.

add the citric acid last since it will go off with the heat of the

melted cocoa u can take cookie molds...

ps: add fo or eo and food colours as per ur choice bath confetti is

similar i thk u gotta take a pasta mold and make them into noodle

shapes...

heloo,

u can substitute the butter, maybe u need to adjust the proportion in

order to get a firm hard bar.

The cocoa butter is very easily melted, even by the heat of ur body,

so it is excellent for hot baths...u don't want ur truffle to remain

floating and not dissolve.

So...chk up on ur butter choice.

for exfoliation, u can add salt granules, oatmeal, apricot kernel

powder.

Honey is know to make ur product softer so chk up ur quantity.

i suggest u start with a basic proportion, then adjust to suit urself.
