Guest guest
HI I have taken all three. I wouldnt take lodine if you paid me a million dollars. My doctor gave me a prescription for it. It was if I swallowed a cup of Clorox. Gave me stomach pains almost immediately after swallowing it. Celebrex was a waste of time. Bextra actually worked but wouldnt take it now for risks of strokes etc. > > Can anyone tell me whats the difference between Lodine vs > Celebrex,Bextra, Mobic....I just heard of Lodine the otherday and was > wondering why all the OP surgens I`ve seen never mentioned Lodine. > Anyone know....? Guest guest
I've used every NSAID under the sun over the last couple years. Some of them worked minimally, some didn't work at all, they all had side effects. A couple weeks ago I was getting tired of not being able to walk, and flushed the NSAIDS and simply wrapped my knees with an Ace bandage. It worked wonders. I am back to about 90% pain relief and no NSAIDS. I still take glucosamine however. It seemed to provide about as much pain relief as the NSAIDs without the side effects. Guest guest
It milked out the inflammation. Inflammation has always been my main problem. I am hoping my doctors eliminated the problem behind the inflammation, plica syndrome. I still remember the comments the first radiologist said a couple years ago when reading my MRI. She said there was no glaring problem on the MRI, but she couldn't believe how my whole leg was full of inflammation. My theory is that I have had severe inflammation so long, that even with eliminating the root cause, I am still dealing with chronic inflammation. It was also interesting the first few doctors diagnosed me with mild to moderate osteo-arthritis. When the two doctors who did my arthoscopies got into my knee, they said I have virtually no osteo-arthritis. Everyone's case is different. My solutions won't necessarily work for many others, but I thought I would share my experiences. I am now moving on to using a product by the name of Tubigrip. It is a compression tube that comes in a 10 meter roll in different sizes. You just cut off a section of the right length and put it on like a sock. It provides the same compression of an Ace bandage, but is much more convenient, and stays up during work. It is also make out of cotton with natural latex interior so it is very comfortable. I wear it all the times during the day, and about 50% of the time at night. The 3 1/2 inch size fits me best, but a person would want to go somewhere to have it sized to their knee. I found it hard to find a medical supply store who carries the stuff. http://www.continentostomystore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY & Store_Cod\ e=COS & Category_Code=TETN Mike MT difference.... > > > > > > > > Can anyone tell me whats the difference between Lodine vs > > Celebrex,Bextra, Mobic....I just heard of Lodine the otherday and was > > wondering why all the OP surgens I`ve seen never mentioned Lodine. > > Anyone know....? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
