Fragrant oils in massage

This is an excellent example of too much snipping. Somebody's talking about

FOs which are not labeled skin safe, not necessarily all FO's. Some people

prefer to use only EOs for the therapeutic benefits, and you should never

buy candle scent at 's and then make massage oil out of it. It's not

for cosmetic use. Hope that unmuddies the waters a bit.

YES....FO are not used for body massages, only EO should be used in

small percentages, mixed with a carrier oil.

FO are not used in lip balms either. Flavoring Oils are generally

used in Lip balms since they are FDA approved and GRAS, generally

regarded as safe.

Also, Doing a simple internet search can answer some of your basic

questions about colorants, FDA rules, EO and FO, etc.

You can get skin safe FO (Fragrance Oils) at almost any candle/toiletry

supplier.

Hello Shere...this is a mistake! I didn't send the message above! I sent one in

reply to the message saying that I wouldn't

consider using fo's as they are chemical and have no healing properties.

Eo's are used in massage oils to heal, rather than to smell good!
