Guest guest
Hi everybody, first I would like to thanks everyone who's in this group and contributes with notes, questions, opinions, information. I was shocked when I found the amount of files being shared: almost enough material to review for the whole exam!!!! : ) My questions are not multiple answers, it's just niggling pieces of info I came across today that I couldn't quite understand: 1 - Studying Scully's Medical Problems today (pg 262) I came acroos the information that "no tobacco use (or cessation of tobacco use) is associated with RAS (recureent aphtous stomatitis). If that is so, why is that? Or did I just misunderstand? 2 - Regarding prescriptions, does anybody know if we are allowed to prescribe branded drugs (on the NHS) if a generic one is available? I wouldn't have thought so, but I am sure I read on the BDA advice sheets that we are. Another question, this time about the ORE1 itself: what is the passing mark? I mean, how much percent have you got to get right to pass? Or is it depending on the average performance of the other candidates? Thanks for any help. And thanks for all the help... : ) xxxx Ana Dunlop
