Guest guest
The modified recipe I have used is: 1/4 cup glycerine (this is the stuff that gets warm when you blow on it) 1/4 tsp. food flavoring extracts, not oils 1 to 2 drops food coloring Mix well and bottle. This may be diluted with a bit of distilled water if too sticky, depending on personal preference.

Guest guest
Here's mine... It's pretty easy... (I got them off the Internet.) I just bought some poly 80 (edible) so I won't have to say " shake before using. " (I would imagine it would be, ahem, distracting... <g>) Flavored Massage Oil Recipe 2 oz. carrier oil 8-10 drops of flavored oil 2-6 drops of liquid sweetener Pour carrier oil into a clean bottle. Add 8-10 drops of flavored oil. Add 2 drops of liquid sweetener. Shake to blend. Taste. If you prefer a stronger flavor, add more flavored oil, if you prefer a weaker flavor, add more oil. Too sweet? Add more oil. Not sweet enough, add more sweetener! It is that simple! Edible Massage Oil 1/4 cup glycerin (available in pharmacies) 1/4 tsp. honey 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract (try to get the clear, not brown vanilla) 1/4 tsp. flavoring 1 drop food coloring (if necessary) Mix well and bottle. This is a water-soluble lotion that heats up when you blow on it, and is latex-friendly. It can be used as a personal lubricant or edible massage oil. =//= Anyone have a recipe for Edible Massage Oil? Am
Guest guest
The glycerin obtainable from most pharmacies is not vegetable glycerin but is a synthetic glycerin and not suitable for eating. Massage oils that are edible are made with oils that are edible, flavoring oils and not Essential or Fragrance oils. Oils that make excellent massage oils are light and sink into the skin fast such as grapeseed oil. You can then flavor this grapeseed oil with any Flavoring Oil of your liking. hth Sherry Sherry's Creations Natural Care E-books & Spreadsheets for Beginners-Intermediates www.thompsonherbals.com/book.html _________________________________________________________________ Fast, faster, fastest: Upgrade to Cable or DSL today! https://broadband.msn.com
Guest guest
Be sure your flavor is water based. Oil based flavors will not be latex friendly (read between the lines).-Tabitha

Guest guest
Vegetable glycerin + flavoring to taste. Be sure to get water based flavors, the oil based ones - like the Wilton's candy flavors at Wal-Mart, won't mix well with the glycerin. Guest guest
Herbs/botanicals make excellent Edible massage oils....you can infuse most any herb or botanical if it is Edible, into your oil base, which should also be an edible oil as well. If your making it for a man, he might like a mint oil base, for a woman, try rose or lavender oil base. The list mom has excellent herbs and botanicals for sale on her site, for infusing into your oil base Also if you use glycerin, be sure it is Vegetable glycerin and not a synthetic glycerin. hth Sherry Natural Care E-books, booklet, spreadsheets, free downloads www.herbalsoap-healingcreams.com
