Date: Thu, 14 Jul 2011 06:05:45 -0500 Subject: slow down kefir? Is there a way to slow down kefir? I have my starter grains, though they've grown (YAY) and when I use 3 cups of milk, it's almost exactly twenty four hours when they're ready to be strained and given fresh milk, and I can use the kefir. That's about two cups of kefir a day, which is a bit more than I need. Is there a way to stretch out this period, so I don't have to change the milk every day?
