I was reading an article in Wise Traditions v9 n1 about making water kefir and the author said that you could add egg shells to the brewing kefir water. I have my own free-ranging backyard flock... So would that be one whole shell? half a shell? I'll obviously pick a clean one but would I have clean it or anything? Would I use a new shell with each batch? Thanks again!
