The ones I split off I put into cow's milk. They are not looking as happy. Is it the shock of being in a different type of milk? Yes, they will adjust very soon. They are looking limpish. Not as fluffy as they once were. They are not growing at the rate I am used to seeing them grow. I made kefir with raw cows milk for about four years. Remember Star on my web-site? Well Star took a back seat when I got goats last year and switched all my kefir grains over to goat milk. I notice my kefir grains grow faster in goats milk. I asked this on the other list and no one every answered. I wonder if this has been anyone else's experience. Usually people use one or the other. I had jars of goats milk next to jars of cows milk and made kefir that way for months. The goats milk kefir won. Anyone have any suggestions? Jazz They'll be fine very soon. Talk quietly to them, tell them everything is going to be okay. Before you know it, they'll perk right up. Marilyn Quote
