I know I have gotten some things before - such as I read that someone wore wooden shoes, someone said to wear crocs (but I don't know if the mites would not think it was their new bedding), someone said to put baking soda inside your shoes. I went shopping yesterday and I had to toss out about 4 items out b/c the mites were in them too bad to keep - 2 Vinyl shower curtain liners that I bought at Big Lots and also some powder I bought there. I went to Food Lion for the 2nd time in a week and so far only had to throw out the Arid Antiperspirant. I think sometimes going into different stores from where you have not gone in helps. I know when I go into Family Dollar I can feel the mites in the store b/c I've been going in there all summer long getting mothballs, and cleaning supplies.
