Guest guest
well, you know , i just really looked at the pictures for the first time...so, given that they know he's only just turned 5, and given that there is absolutely nothing in the pictures to tell him it's about 'shots,' i think this was really just an attempt to tell ME how important vax are by pretending to give my son a gift. Guest guest
it is frustrating...and laughable. i guess it's opportunity to talk to them about it with them, though. it's like the tons of commercials for garbage cereals, drinks, etc. i told him that anything that is advertised on tv is full of chemicals because only the very rich food companies can afford to pay to make a commercial and they all use chemicals. now, even when he sees one that's particularly appealing, he'll say "can you buy an organic one of those that doesn't have 'cheminals'" And, the other day he said when we were watching tv, "the food in the 'commershkals' has 'cheminals'" After cracking up because he remembered that and because of his pronunciation, i just said "that's right.' Guest guest
That's funny actually, because someone posted something on here a few months ago where a dr who is rather emphatically pro-vax claims that now the largest portion of people choosing NOT to vaccinate is the upper class, well educated, upper income. So it started out as a lack of education and healthcare, and has now moved to too much education and health care??? We are ignorant if we're lacking in money, education, health care, we're ignorant if we have enough or an abundance of these things...basically that means that the entirety of the human race save a few thousand is ignorant. How did we ever survive as a species? My guess is their hope is your son will ask you to read it to him and you're probably very right...propaganda aimed at you for not vaxing. Guest guest
I used to remember going through my baby book and the baby books of my siblings and seeing the vaccination page with a big proud 'X' through it. We live in a culture that thinks that injecting things into you makes you healthy. No wonder so many people are into drugs. We live in a drug culture. Get ready for health classes, parenting classes, college admission, and other life situations that seem to demand that you get a shot to be initiated into the next step. It is a mindset. It is brainwashing. It is wrong. Just remember that it is wrong, and you will see how much you accept that is wrong. Good luck. ~ Maureen R. Guest guest
Funny accusations of ignorance, you know, i wonder often WHY it is that there is a an ever growing population of physicians, medical scientist, neurologists etc. who have the very SAME education and same training as every other dr. Whose education was funded by the very same big Pharma as everyone else...why are these doctors of a different opinion. I wonder at the thought process of mankind when you have two vastly different opinions and two vastly different interpretations of the sciences, how is it that people can possibly feel that those of us on this side are ignorant? We're not talking about a group of people just looking to stir up trouble who have no medical background or training, we're talking about trained medical professionals...you would think more people would perk up and wonder why that is. Guest guest
Be encouraged to know that there is way more freedom now than there used to be. Twenty plus years ago when I first had kids, not vaccinating was very hush-hush. I only knew three people who didn't. One whispered it to me and told me I should be careful about letting others know so my kids wouldn't be ostracized, another admitted it during a conversation about not vaxing that I started, and the last was a good friend who told very few people.
