Guest guest
Yes - MOVE TO OT4VAX to join ot4vax Sheri We have health, vision and dental thru Dh employer, very affordable. When hubby is forced to retire in three years we lose this wonderful price, a little over $100/ mo for family of six. We almost never used it except sports injuries and birth until the kids decided to go to school and got so sick so often. Now I spend that much in supplements/ mo so that we can avoid using the inssurance and avoid seeing dr's. Not sure what we will do when he retires, no telling what laws will be passed by then. I will be looking for alternatives and purchase something for emergencies. We are already forced to buy car insurance, home insurance, not surprised that health is next. This is an important topic, we could move it to ot4vax and continue? Toni Mom to Cyrus, Darius, Remi Rose & Willow Sent from my iPhone Nmidaughterseyes@... I learned a long time ago when I was in the insurance business that the law of averages was on my side, and once I knew that I would never go to the allopath for any diseased condition i figured the odds were in my favor. I have no idea how much $ I have saved in 48 years, but if I had an accident and it cost me a small fortune I would be happy to pay those robber barens $50 a month for the rest of my life. It sounds like your friend wasn,t financialy set and neither am I, but theres an old saying " you can't get blood out of a turnip. Im not sure why you responded to me with my opinion on whether I am going to jail or not. People can choose whatever they want but I am sick of paying for those who don't take care of themselves or are ripping off the system. And I don't want a bunch of theives and bungling idiots taking of any more private business. it would be nice if insurance companies sold insurance that just covered accidents. It would be like cancer policys. cheap. If it happened to me and I owed lots of money to those bandits, I would go belly up in a heartbeat. Other than that i don't want big brother screwing up this country anymore than they already have. Just curious, why wasn't the person who caused your friends problem held responsible? May the wind always be at your back. This is my second off topic so if you would like to write to me off list, I would love to dicuss the health issue with you. Have a Jim Dandy day. Bottom line, two had insurance and although they had co-pays, etc., they're financially OK. And one had no insurance -- her choice -- she will be paying her hospital and doctor bills, on a payment plan, for many, many, many, many years. I view my health insurance as financial protection against what can happen to me while I'm busy being healthy. To me it's like car insurance, it's about the other idiots on the road that can hit my car - which has happened to me twice, and I now have a back issue due to one of those idiots and need to see a chiro on a regular basis. The only time I have ever had health insurance was when I worked for a company who provided it. This no coverage plan of mine is by choice as I do not intend to take poisonous drugs or have my vital organs cut out. You would only find me in a hospital for two reason, either I am visiting one of my friends or in case of accident, and then I would go on the payment plan. I love how Obama says one shouldn't have to pay for those who won't pay for it themselves. What the hell does he think medicaid and welfare is all about. I think he should pass a law forcing all government people to join a health club, and eat right. If they refuse off to the clinker.
