Guest guest
I was taken for surprise when the nurse wanted to vaccinate my daughter on her 2nd day of life with Hep B. I didn't know what to do! I approach life from a natural standpoint and i'm learning more each day. I had heard of my friend, a nurse, who chose not to vaccinate her girl until she had to.. I signed the hospital's waiver saying no thanks to the hep b shot! I started gathering all information. I was shocked, but not surprised, when I tried to visit the library to find books on vaccination. So I bought some online. Soon after, a few months into research, we decided vaccination was not right for us at all! Our chiropractor provides some form of immunizations once they are a year old. Most of the diseases really didn't scare me after reading the book, What Your Doctor May NOT be Telling You about Childhood Vaccinations. I think that is the title. I have since read so much more to confirm my new beliefs. I will not get another vaccination, nor will my daughter ever get one, if I can help it. My future children will not receive vaccinations and now I " m working on my extended family. That brings a question to mind. I had heard that getting the flu vaccine, for example, can increase your risk for alzheimer's 3 fold! I told my father-in-law that and he just made a face and dismissed me. He's a pharmacist. I told his wife, my mother-in-law and she sounded a bit more interested! So I'm asking for help to find information that is well documented, if possible, to send to her and maybe she can convice him not to get the silly flu shot each year! and now with the scary swine flu vaccine. CAN ANYONE HELP? Thanks so much and I look forward to learning more from you, Amelia
Guest guest
Hi, Amelia--welcome! Good for you not to fall to the pressure to vax your newborn. Many parents do and learn what a mistake it was the hard way. You absolutely do not ever have to vaccinate your children if you don't want to. What is it that your chiropractor offers? You can google info on the Alzheimer's and flu shots. Here's a good source that I came up with on the first page: (http://www.whale.to/vaccines/flu11.html). If you're trying to convince someone else, though, they will probably want some traditional medical source and I'm not sure where to find that. Maybe someone else here has a link to a study.
