Guest guest
Zoe, Thanks so much for letting me know this. I have almost lost all hope when I see these tiny specks on our doors. Do you mind telling me how much it takes per acre or SF? We have 10 acres and I know that we can't do all that but we may have to with all the field mice. Did you notice any other insects it helped with? How long did it last? Many Thanks, I think Bonide is the brand we have but will need many bags. Guest guest
i diluted the powder in water according to the directions on the container and sprayed it everywhere outside until the surfaces outside turned yellow with sulfur. I sprayed the hedge plants too... and the outside of the windows and doors. I let it dry and stay there for weeks and it worked well right away, Then i resprayed when it wore off. I haven't sprayed outside all summer now and haven't noticed a problem out there at all. I wish I could spray the whole house, but it is dangerous if you breath it in and gets chalky on the surface of things when it dries so it can get easily airborn perhaps... z3 > > > > > > > > I have only found the garden sulfur that says not to get on clothes but it is almost pure sulfur. > > > > I have not tried to mix it in water because I was not sure how easy it would desolve but could it be used like DE and put under a mattress pad or a baseboard? > > > > It says it is for mites and currently I am getting very hopless because I see so many small mite looking things in our doors . > > > > Even if we did the tent fumigation that we may need for the powder post beetles and now mites if they are all around the yard then it is not going to help much unless we can find something to treat the yard with. > > > > We have 10 acres and never in my life would I have believed that I would be afraid to go out just to get in a car. > > > > I don't know what to do these small specks are all over and they will just land on me and they hurt. > > > > If I use the arm and hammer or one of the pesticides on the ceiling it helps for that day. > > > > I can't keep doing that to our ceiling and I can't keep using pesticides since I just had cancer. > > > > I am home alone most of the time and have no place to go unless I leave. > > > > I don't see how this will ever end. > > > > I do think we have mice mites. > > > > I didn't know the holes in the dirt around the foundation was from a mouse until recently and there are more of them. > > > > We thought they were going in through the garage and into a closet that has duct work to keep the hotwater heater from freezing. > > > > We already had the duct work cleaned. > > > > Please help I think if I could get away I would not feel so many prickly things. > > > > Sandy > > > > > > > > > >
