Guest guest
Hi ka, Thank you for your response. What scares me the most is like most uninformed moms, I too had given my daughter all her doses of the DTAP crap when she was 2, 4, and 6 months and I hate that I did without knowing what was really going in her body. And although I still hardly know what is in all shots, I do know that they can be harmful to any child and I am stopping that right now! My main concern was how I am going to put in her school when that time comes? I have read some info on Thinktwice.com to help with the laws for California and it looks as though I can by pass the vaccine mandate for putting kids into school. She is only 14 months old and I have long ways to go before school, but I want to prepare myself now for what is to come. If anyone else can please advise me or pass along some MORE info on vaccines and school, please do. Thank you again ka and everybody in this group! Roberg <trinnea@...> wrote: Hi Rina, I apologize, I'm catching up on the threads a bit late, but I saw your post on your daughter's impending DTaP vax and feel compelled to respond. I urge you... no, I BEG YOU with ALL OF MY BEING to hold off on the DTaP (all vaccines really) until you can fully reserch it. This shot has a very high incidence of causing brain damage and has a real potential to be DEADLY. I highly recommend reading " A Shot in the Dark " by L. Coulter and Barbara Loe Fisher (co-founder of the National Vaccine Information Center, http://www.nvic.org). There is also a lot of information at the Mothering.com vaccinations forum. Here's the link for DTaP info there: http://www.mothering.com/discussions/forumdisplay.php?f=112 PLEASE arm yourself with good information before letting your precious little girl be subjected to live viruses, heavy metals and neurotoxins that can change her life forever.... or Heaven forbid, something worse! California is very easy The school will give you a form to fill out on vaccines and turn it over and on the back is a line you sign to refuse them. That's it. Guest guest
That easy???? I am sure I will have to hear from school officials. I thought it had to be notarized and also what happens if there is an outbreak of something, am I able to legally keep her out of school? Guest guest
If it's like the laws here in Colorado, you'll be *required* to keep you child out of school for as long as the outbreak occurs (IMO that's what I'd want to do anyway). Here in Colorado, we have the same type of waiver form that California does. You fill out your child's information, list the vaccines you're waiving (I simply put " ALL " in bold letters), sign it and turn it in. My kiddo is only two, but I haven't been met with much resistance from school (preschool) officials at all. The only opposition I've really encountered is in the allopathic medical community, because I'm messing with their bread and butter by refusing vaccines.... the school officials get paid whether your child is vaccinated or not, so I think they have less motivation to bully you. Guest guest
Rina, I live in CA. All I had to do for daycare was flip the vaccination record form over, and sign a benign statement. Something like, " I refuse to give my child immunizations. " At this point, we're a really easy state when it comes to vaccine choice. Don't worry too far in advance. She's 14 months, so she's not going to need to be in a public school for a few years. Who knows what laws - good or bad - might be in effect then? My son is 26 months and started day care at 20 months. None of the day cares I talked to, not even the two schools, cared about his vaccination status. Relax! :0) ~Robyn Rina Barillas wrote: > > Hi ka, > Thank you for your response. Guest guest
Robyn, Thank you for that info. My baby girl has been in day care since she was 6 months old and of course was vaxxed back then. I usually am a person who thinks ahead, but in this case you are right, who knows what will happen by then. I just want to make siure I am prepared. Thanks for the support once again! Guest guest
Rina, Glad it helped. When I re-read it, I thought I might have sounded dismissive. I'm not! I understand where you're coming from, I do. I just made a conscious decision at some point - I don't even know when - to stop worrying unless I absolutely had to. It's helped a lot. ~Robyn Rina Barillas wrote: > > Robyn, > Thank you for that info. My baby girl has been in day care since she > was 6 months old and of course was vaxxed back then.
